Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
